Kicks for Barry - Fundraiser Campaign

Body:

Despite a great start to the fall season, we unfortunately have some sad news. One of our U13 girls head coaches, Tom Maibauer, was recently made aware that his 18 year old nephew, Barry, has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. His nephew was intended to play soccer for The University of Mount Union, and during his physical was made aware of a possible growth. Upon further testing back home in Cleveland, it became clear that the cancer had progressed and spread to his lungs and lymph nodes in his abdomen. He has a tough road ahead of him, but he does have a good prognosis. As a supportive organization, we felt it only proper to share with you a fundraising campaign that was started by Tom in order to raise funds to assist his nephew with the medical costs he faces during his treatment. Please take a moment to have a look at the fundraiser website and read more about Barry's story, and of course make a donation if you wish. Tom has asked that even if you can not make a donation that you at least help spread the campaign, he would be most appreciative of any and all help, even if it's just sharing with friends. We appreciate you taking the time to read about this, and wish Barry the best of luck.

The campaign can be found at www.kicksforbarry.com and is hosted by CrowdRise, a reputable fundraising website featured in Forbes magazine. Tom has stated that they are in the process of setting up an account with Barry's bank to accept cash & check donations as well, we will post that information when it becomes available.
