Footskills Spring 2016

This post is for those seeking more information regarding the Footskills session this Friday, April 22nd and Sunday, May 1st. Pre-registration is not required in order to participate in the Spring footskills sessions, just arrive ready to learn with water, your ball, and comfortable, soccer appropriate clothing. Eligible players must be U05 through U08, and both boys and girls are invited to participate. Both footskills sessions are scheduled to take place on Field #5, but please check the website before departure to ensure the field has not been changed due to weather. Kick Diabetes 3v3 Tournament

U8 - U12 Girls, please join us for a 3v3 Tournament that benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly. It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle. You cannot prevent it—and there is currently no cure. Alexa Muth is a 9-year-old soccer player who battles on and off the field. She plays in the Strongsville Travel Program and the OP Fire Club while constantly checking her blood sugar level, relying on an insulin pump, and carefully monitoring her eating and activity—day and night, on and off the field.

Games Cancelled - April 9th, 2016

As a soccer organization that has a duty to ensure that all of it's players have a fun and safe season, we have unanimously decided to cancel this weeks games scheduled for April 9th due to field conditions and weather. We have watched the weather forecast closely since Saturday, and have only seen it worsen. Smurf age groups (U04 thru U06) will begin their season on April 16th, the games that were scheduled for this Saturday will be made up on June 4th and schedules will be updated in the next 24-48 hours.
